3rd week at summer holidays

Sunday, July 16th, 2006

Heh, I bet to those of you (you know who you are) who went back, I’m sure that come 3rd week summer hols, you guys over are already DEAD BORED already….makanan M’sia which you guys savoured so much (and then planned to annoy me with me) has gone from ‘luxury’ to ‘plain’ status already. I won’t complain so much about food because I’m not as ‘craving-ful’ as you guys. Hehe.

I thing I find very amusing is how much free food I got my friends (recent count figure: 15). Heh, guess this is what you get for being the only person staying during summer hols. People start dumping you their remaning slices of cheese, untouched potatoes, butter, maggi, pasta, rice, etc.
That means I don’t have to do a lot of major groceries shoppings. Yipeee!!!

Never realise that it’s already my 3rd week working at Harrods. I’m already half-way through. Now, it’s been a pleasant experience to work there. I guess I wanted to do a part-time job there afterall.

I miss home. I can’t wait for December to arrive. I finally bought my flight ticket home, and it did cost me  a lot. Waaa…after that purchase, my balance in my account dropped A LOT!!!! wanna cri, but then again, I haven’t forgotten that money (from JPA and Harrods) will come in !!! Yipeeeee!!! Kaya!! Harrods on sale!!!

Random thoughts

#1: Gee…I really missed Pooley a lot. Now I’m already at Floyer House, and my room is in a HUGE mess, partly because of my stuff, and partly I’ve turned my room into a mini-storage room. Again, this messiness has made me blank, can’t think straight, and I can’t do anything about it. So I’m taking my time slowly to settle down. One thing about me staying back is I get to be the store house keeper. Not just that, I get to all food stuff from people who have gone home - either I take it from the kitchen table or the more usually case is they ‘dumped’ them to me. So I probabbly need to do shopping this month!

#2: Went to Brighton few days ago with Zul,Aini,Eliza,Katie and Ameana on bright sunny day. The beachand people were great (although the one that we went to was just pebble-beach. After we had a game of deckcards, went home and tried this very expensive and yet super delicious Mexican restaurant, "Oscars" as Bayswater.Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, so nice!

#3: Finally I successfully completed my 1st year as a medical student (passed my exam, but i didn’t get merit lah. Not smart enough). Wah, still 4 more years to go. But undoubtly, one year has gone just like that. And like what Zahari(4th year) says, by the time you realise it, you’re gonna complete your course! And by then, you should  have already started thinking of settling down,bla,bla,bla.. things which adults do. Wished I was still a kid - don’t have to think and decide on complicated adult issues. I felt like shit whenever I think about growing up and moving along. *sigh*
